FOOD PRODUCTION
 
   


An orientation to the food services industries. Students become familiar with food preparation techniques, health and hygiene, the selection and care of commercial equipment, purchasing and storing food, and the evaluation of food products. Employability and merchandising skills are also an emphasis. Third-year students refine their hands-on training by preparing and serving meals for MAST Academy’s Fish Tales Café’.
